Donation Cancellations
Once a donation is successfully processed through our website or authorized payment gateway, it cannot be canceled.
If a donor wishes to cancel a recurring monthly donation (subscription-based contribution), they may request cancellation of future donations by contacting us at least 7 working days before the next scheduled payment date.
Donation Refunds
While donations are normally non-refundable, we understand that errors can sometimes occur. To address such rare situations:
Refunds may be considered only in cases of:
Duplicate donation made due to technical error.
Accidental donation of an incorrect amount.
Unauthorized transaction due to fraud or misuse of payment details.
To request a refund, donors must notify us within 48 hours of the donation transaction.
After verification, approved refunds will be processed using the original method of payment within 7–10 working days.
Once a refund is initiated, the donor will be informed via email or phone.
Tax Exemption Certificates (80G Benefits)
Donations made to Karma Shape are eligible for tax exemptions under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act (India), where applicable.
Once a donation is processed, the donor will receive an acknowledgment receipt and a tax exemption certificate on their registered email address.
In the event of a refund or cancellation of donation, the previously issued tax exemption certificate will automatically become invalid and cannot be used for tax benefit claims.
Responsibility of Donors
It is the responsibility of the donor to ensure that accurate information, including name, email, and donation amount, is entered at the time of transaction.
Karma Shape shall not be held liable for any incorrect details entered by the donor that may result in failed donations, non-issuance of receipts, or misdirected funds.
